Visited Big Family Brewing Company in Sarnia. Had a flight and some lunch.
The 4 in my flight all tasted good, I brought home 8 differnt ones and can't wait to try them out. It's worth a stop ig your in the Sarnia area
We stopped there on Sunday (Sept 17/23) for a beer and to listen to Aiden sing. The Head Brewer David Draper took some time to have an enjoyable conversation with us. Giving us samples of the brews we hadn't tried and some of his own history. We got our two growlers refilled before we left. The bartender that served us at the bar made it a pleasant stay.
we'll be back many more times for our favorite Smash.
Congratulations to Glasstown Brewery on their opening. I was a lucky one to find one of their Growlers by being in the right place at the right time. I just need to get over there and taste some of their beer and collect my prize.
Gone but not forgotten
Home and outings
This a blog about two guys who like beer, a father-in-law and a son-in-law We go to craft beer festivals in London and Windsor and our local craft breweries. I've visited ones in Sarnia, Erieau, London, Waterloo, Elmira, St Jacobs, Niagra Falls, St. Catharines, Niagara on the Lake, Virgil, and more.
We buy craft beers at the LCBO, craft breweries, Beer Store etc. and share them 1 beer and 2 glasses ( two Guys and 'A' Beer) As we taste 2 or 3 at a time and then try to remember a week or more later which one was drinkable and which one we don't want to try again. So for now on we are going to tell you what we think of our tastings. As time goes on I will add breweries I have visited.
Im not going to use descriptions like fuller-bodied, with nuances of fruit or spice and a pleasantly hoppy finish, I'm going to describe them as Good Bad and ugly, and rate from 1 to 10 as how we like them
